| George Sciadas |
| Dr George Sciadas is Chief of Information Society Research and Analysis in the Innovation and Electronic Information Division of Statistics Canada, and the editor of the Connectedness Series. He is also collaborating with OECD’s Secretariat for the Working Party on Indicators for the Information Society and is the Scientific Director for Orbicom’s Monitoring the Digital Divide project. Dr Sciadas has worked extensively and for many years at the national and international levels on conceptual, measurement and analytical issues concerning the information society. He obtained his PhD from McGill University and has taught economics at McGill, Concordia and Carleton universities. He is a frequent participant in international events and has published numerous studies, which are quoted widely. |
