Pradhan | | Gopi
Pradhan started his career as a trainee officer in a remote district of Bhutan
before becoming a trainer in telecommunications technology. He also served as
a human resource manager. Gopi was appointed the national project coordinator
when ITU implemented the first telecentre pilot project in Bhutan in 1996. In
2001, he prepared the first report on ICT development in Bhutan for IDRC. Gopi
also worked as a freelance ICT consultant in areas such as ICT policy development,
e-post, e-business, e-government and e-strategies. He prepared Bhutan’s first
e-readiness report for the Department of Information Technology. He last served
as the project manager for the UNDP ICT Project in Afghanistan. He has an MBA
with specialisation in IT and finance from the International University of Japan. |  |
