Samudra Haque is a US-educated engineer and an entrepreneur in
the Bangladesh ICT industry. He has a background in computer science and satellite
and terrestrial communications engineering. Samudra established PraDeshtaNet,
which was instrumental in connecting Bangladesh to the Internet in 1993. He is
presently involved in research and development of a new network architecture for
a broadband multi-service wireless/wired network. His career over the past 15
years has been in ICTs and focused on data communication. He has worked on projects
in the USA, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Samudra has led small teams of engineers
to design, develop, deploy, test commission, operate and manage satellite, microwave
and DSL telecommunications networks. |
