| Contributing
authors Nalaka Gunawardene started his career as a science writer and journalist with Sri Lanka's print and broadcast media. He has written and broadcast extensively on science and technology issues. He has also served as a United Nations consultant, media researcher, television commentator and columnist. He now heads the Asia Pacific Regional Programme of the International Television Trust for the Environment.
